What are Profiles?
Profiles make it easy to identify and manage all your connected devices. Through the eero App, you can create user profiles and assign specific devices to them. Once created, you can set scheduled internet pauses, track data usage, and apply content filters for the devices within each profile.
All eero users can use Profiles to group devices by user and schedule when those devices can connect to the internet. You can also restrict internet access to devices on a profile outside of any preset schedule.
eero Plus unlocks even more features that let you control what content, apps, and websites each profile can access. Unassigned Device Control ensures that your content filters apply to guest and unrecognized devices.
How do I create and manage profiles?
Profiles let you organize devices by household member and apply settings like scheduled pauses to specific users. You can create profiles, add devices to them, and delete profiles when needed.
How do I create profiles?
To get started, you'll first need to create profiles for the members of your household:
On the eero App Home tab, scroll to Profiles
Tap Add a Profile
Enter a name for the profile, and select the devices you'd like to add to the profile by tapping the checkboxes to the right of each device
Tap Done in the top-right corner
How do I add devices to profiles?
To add a device to a profile:
On the eero App Home tab under Profiles, tap the profile you'd like to add a device to
Tap Add a device
Select the devices you'd like to add to the profile by tapping the checkboxes to the right of each device
Tap Done in the top-right corner
You can also assign devices to individual profiles from the Home or Devices tabs:
Open the eero App, and tap either Home or Devices
Tap the device you'd like to assign to a profile
Tap Profile
Select the desired profile
Note: To avoid conflict between various schedules and pauses, a device can only be assigned to one profile at a time. If you'd like to revoke access to a device that multiple people in your home use—the family room TV, for example—you may want to create a separate user profile for that device.
How do I delete profiles?

Note: When you delete a profile, all of the devices under that user profile will become unassigned and, if any scheduled pauses are active, unpaused. You can then assign them to a different user profile or leave them unassigned.
